Additionally, users can turn on ' Filter Spam Calls' if they want to block spam calls by default. To enable this feature, open the Phone app, tap on the three-dot menu, hit Settings, and then tap ' Spam and Call Screen.' On the following screen, switch on the ' See caller & spam ID' toggle. Like Truecaller, the Google Phone app provides additional (though less advanced) call filtering options, including inbuilt Caller ID and spam protection. Tap the '-' icon next to a phone number to unblock it. Select ' Manage Block List' to view a list of all the blocked numbers. To view a list of blocked phone numbers on Truecaller, open the app and tap on the ' Block' icon which looks like a shield with a checkmark. While the Phone app is the default dialer on Android, some users prefer using third-party apps like Truecaller which provide advanced spam call filtering. Select the Call blocking & Ignore with the message option. Users can also unblock numbers from their call log or contacts list. Block from your dialer: Open your Phone app to the Dial screen. Launch the Phone app and tap the three dots at the top right of the screen. To remove a number from the block list, tap the 'x' button to clear it, and then hit ' Unblock' or the '-' symbol next to the number. You can block a phone number in Android at any time, you needn’t wait for it to call you.
